Hosted By Prof Lynda Holt & Prof Brian Dolan OBE
The Global Summit is the biggest annual event of the #EndPJparalysis movement.
This year it is running live from 8am - 10.30pm on Wednesday 8th July and 7am - 8pm on Thursday 9th July. Attendance is free to any health, social and care professionals as well as students and educationalists. After the live event, content is available online through the endpjparalysis.org web portal.
This is year 8 of the #EndPJParalysis Global Summit, we’ve learned a lot, shared a lot, and built a community of over 6000 people all working to prevent the devastating consequences of avoidable deconditioning.
This Summit is the success it is because people like you are prepared to give your time and expertise to share what’s worked for you, what you have researched and how you’ve created change in attitudes, practices, and outcomes around deconditioning. If you would like to submit an abstract you can do that here.
This year we'll host an eclectic mix of speakers, panel discussions and create the opportunity to ask questions and build up peer networks. It will bring people together from across the world to share best practice, to explore the research, case studies and to understand the lived experience and impact of deconditioning. You can expect a wide range of clinical presentations as well as leadership discussions and perspectives on looking after those in the caring professions.
